Hello I loved Japan and it's culture since I was Kid.My dream is to live there, I hope I make it to Japan someday.Im awhile away from being able to do that since im a second year going into my junior year in high school.Anyway I plan on dating a japanese girl and again I can't do that either because there are not many here in the state I live in which sucks. Im tired of being alone its killing me. My family is okay with it but my dad,step-mother,and grandpa say before I date one I should date any girl.Im not going to do it though I think it might turn into something serious so now my garandpa says then just friends with a girl. Im friends with a girl at school and I hang out with her im starting to know more about girls.When I finally do get to meet a Japanese girl what should I do? I do speak intermediate Japanese by the time I get to Japan I might be fluent would it impress her?

My man, take it from a person who has lived in Japan and who's father is Japanese and a guy who has dated a Japanese before, you are going get slapped in the face with culture difference, you have to learn how the Japanese think and live, you got to know how to be very tolerant and submissive. Plus it sounds like you have an Asian-fetish, which by the way, it will creep them out. Japanese women and other Asian women are use to, as a lot of Latina鈥檚 are as well. You have to fall in love with a person for who they are not for what they are.
