because sometimes the dates can be blurry...and you're not sure when you've crossed over to the bf/gf line, but the first kiss clarifies all that.
I determine my anniversary as the day my boyfriend and I officially became boyfriend and girlfriend.
The first day you start dating can be a special day until you get married. LOL!! But when you get married that's your anniversary date. Then again you can have both dates as ur anniversary...LOL This is cute...
