The dating game.......Who's cruel joke was this?

Anyone else ever feel like the dating game is all a big personal joke from God. You end up going out on horrible dates with people you don't end up having much in common with in the hopes to miraculously find " the one". It's fun sometimes but then again it's exhausting. Anyone else think this way?

I don't think it was a cruel joke. I do think it is frustrating for a lot of people. With meeting people you have nothing in common with, being approached by creepy guys, being rejected and all of the humiliating moments, it makes people wonder about dating.

Here is a funny thing I've noticed:

20's Men: Seem to be desperate to get into a womans pants. And would touch anything that walks

20's Women: VERY SELECTIVE and looking for the right person (good looking, successful, charismatic)

30's Women: Seem to be DESPERATE to get married and NOT AS SELECTIVE as they were when they were younger. Usually get depressed when they see friends get married.

30's Men: Under less pressure, however, have become more selective in their women. They tend to want women who are younger in their 20's and not single women their own age.

Go figure.....Men and women go in opposite directions in their 20's and 30's.

yeah..but i look at it this way. God sends all these deuschebags along your way so when *the one* DOES arrive (if he even exists lol), you'll appreciate him so much more.
Every time i break up with someone, I go through this "I'm done dating" phase. I sit at the bar with my friends and complain about how much men suck and how i am done dating bla bla bla... then out of nowhere comes the man of my dreams we date, i get stupid and then he breakes up with me because i got stupid... This has happened about 4 times this year and its exhausting. Im tired of dating....
girl i couldnt put it any better..i have my BF of two yrs..but our relatioship is on stuck right now..i want more he doesnt and so i know that we have to cut our loses..and to be honest with you..i plan on remaining single for about 5 yrs. or more.....not even dating i dont want anything to do with men..before i met my guy i was single for 2 yrs..no sex no men ..just hanging out with my girls...so i plan on doing me...somemen are so screwed up its a shame
considering what some animals go through, to find a mate, i think we have it pretty easy.

besides, what are you complaining about ? you get dinner out of it. we poor guys get a bad date, no sex and stuck with the bill.
