What is dating exactly? And how do you date?

I know I sound like a moron, but can someone tell me what dating is exactly? And what do you do on your very, VERY first date? Like, how you dress, act, talk about, etc?

The there most important thing you can do as a person to ensure that your dating experience is enjoyable. Not only for you but for your dare, are to be positive, maintain a good attitude and be yourself. Be positive. Attitude change a lot of things. This is my friend at millionairematch.com whose belief. I appreciate this sentence. Being positive and maintaining a good attitude you can help to break out of the insecurities and difficulties of attempting to be yourself. It takes work, a bit of courage, and trust and belief in yourself, but give it a try and see the results for yourself. If you cant fully be yourself on a first date, then give starting out with at least the attempt of being yourself a try.

My very first "date" (it was more of a double date, like I do now) was 2 years ago. I dressed casual and we went with a few friends, so it wouldn't really be that awkward. We went to the movies, and we had our first kiss there. (I know, I've had a bf for like 2 or 3 years, and we kissed like one year later, sad isn't it???)

We basically talked as if we were at school, like friends. About school, homework, classes, weekend plans, etc. etc.

You did not sound like a moron, i don't officially know what a real date is until i'm 16, then i can go with me and my bf, alone...

It depends on who you ask. To some it means you go out with someone on a date (dinner, movie, concert, etc) on more than one occasion, but not committed to that person exclusively. Sometimes you're "Dating" more than one person (no this doesn't make you a slut. It's what you do on those dates that makes you a slut). To others it means you're committed to someone exclusively (I've been dating this guy for 2 yrs now...).

Same thing with "Going out", or "Talking to". It depends on how you define it - like Bill Clinton!! :)
dating is just hanging out with a boy or girl friend to get to know each other and have a fun usally at the movies or dinner .
