So ladies what makes you date a less than attractive man when you know you can have better?

And PLEASE don't give me the whole beauty is in the eye of the beholder thing, lol.

I say this because a women knows when she is dating somebody who she isn't attracted to physically.

Ok, no "beauty in the eye" BS here! Honestly - status (i.e. dating a diplomat), power, money, benefits (i.e. an actress dating a movie producer, etc.), high lifestyle that he can provide, and I am not talking just money alone, but for instance taking his girlfriend vacationing in Europe, driving her around in his Ferrari, taking her to black-tie functions, introducing her to his powerful friends, and for her to be able to rub elbows with rich and famous who are his friends, etc.

Because they tend to be smarter and have better personalities than the hot looking studs I've dated. Women aren't as looks-obsessed as men. To me, the less attractive guy who rocks my world *is* the better man. That being said, there still has to be an attraction there....and I have gone out with people I was initially not attracted to, but they became very attractive to me (physically as well as mentally) once I got to know them.
Well there's the obvious...maybe he has a lot of money and she is Shady O'Grady. Or, he treats her very well because he knows that she is kind of out of his league and she likes being put up on a pedestal. Or, he may just be a really cool guy.
Not only do you go by what you see but by what you feel. I know my boyfriend isn't very attractive at all but his personality and his sensitivity make up for everything else.
OK, so I am a guy... anyways...

I find myself attracted to girls less attractive than me a lot. (no I am not saying that I am anything special)

Really intelligent girls, artistic girls and girls that can speak second languages, girls that can shoot pool, girls that can hang out on "guys night out" and never feel uncomfortable.

Girls that have more confidence than they really should.

These girls would have me crushing any day. I would assume it is the same the other way around.
Well timing is everything. Sometime the person that you feel is right is there for you, heart - mind- body and soul. Most of the attractive guys know that they are special, and handsome

They really act like God made the son to rise and set on them. They treat women like they are a sub- species and really if you can have all the women they usually do....So this is why women just take the ordinary instead of the extra ordinary.
