when you are not seriously dating ( just go out may be once a week...and just started dating a couple weeks ago)someone, how often should the guy call the girl?

I dont think there should be any expectations. Prefferably three times a week. Sometimes too many calls can get to you and really cause more trouble than needed.

It all depends on the type of relationship %26amp; the bonds between the individuals.

If you're going to dump the guy in the future and say 'YOU DIDNT CALL ME ENOUGH TIMES' - please don't do that. It's the most stupid thing someone can say (believe me, someone said that to my friend recently and then we had to talk her comments through and went into a grammatical/ethical debate!)
anywhere rom 2 to 4 times a week. if any more he really like and wants to get to know you better. And that's a good thing
since the relationship is so fresh, there should be no expectations - have fun, do as you want and do not keep him busy in your mind...no attachments so soon!
sometimes people miss out on things because others tell them that they shouldn't call right away or that the other person should call you first. But does it really matter who makes the first move or when it should be made? Sometimes relationships never get a chance because some people are just too afraid to break these rules and to take chance in life.
if he calls you everyday and text you as well means that he is serious, if thricen or twice a week it can be say that you get along well or if once a week means that he is just wasting time with you,
well it depends on how much the guy likes you. if its a lot then he may call 2-3 times a week sometimes its over kill then you need to put a stop to it. but then its all depends if you like him and it won't matter. but sometimes if you rush it then the relationship my get dull quick. if you like him spread things out don't jump in so quickly. take thing slow and get to know as much as you can about this guy.
He should call whenever he feels like spending time with you, which may vary depending on how many other people he is seeing at the time. If you're just casually dating, then you both should have other plates spinning as well.
He should ring you every 5 minutes confessing his undying love until you get fed up and then he should call every 2 minutes until you finally say: "Man! What.....is.....up!?
