so if you kiss someone and you keep in contact after the intial kiss and he keeps asking you to hang out...is that dating or just hanging out?

i know it's a silly question but i've never dated someone before really...well i have but i've never been this situation before...like in the other situation we actually knew from the beginning that we were dating. but with this i'm not so sure.

If you are not confortable enough to ask him that question then prehaps not
it's hanging out unless you actually get a specific asking out...I'd hold back on the kissing until you get the word, or initiate the asking yourself that way you know for sure.

Its hanging out for now. It seems like he likes you so just give him some time. I wouldn't get too physical though. After a while if you still confused then I would suggest you sit down with him one day you guys are hanging out and ask him whats going on. but be careful how you ask him, you dont want to see pushy nor desperate.

This is just hanging out... dating is when he invests time and money on you.. I venture to say, you are probaly making it very easy for him to get a nice bit of smooching for free...
