Ask your friend to talk to him and if there is any question of another girl then dump him
you tell him you want to break up, and then you see if he gets together with her. If he does, then that answers ur question. But if he turns her down, then he obviously only cares about u.
If he doesn't call - how are you dating him? I think you should just move on. It's obvious he doesn't like you. No offence.
